Cachaca Envelhecida Reserva Especial Ouro Carvalho - Ypioca

 Ypióca is one of Brazil's finest cachaças and is distilled from sugar cane. The cachaça is then aged for at least two years in Fréjus barrels—a special type of Brazilian wood—which gives it a unique flavor. The addition "Envelhecida" (English: "old") indicates that at least 50% of the cachaça has been aged for at least one year in a wooden container.

 Tasting Notes: It has a brown color. On the nose, it has sweet aromas of sugar cane. On the palate, it is aromatic, soft, fruity, and spicy. It has a long, lingering finish.

 Company: Since 1846, Ypióca has been a fine example of the art of producing quality cachaça. Ypióca does not add sugar to its recipes, preserving the original characteristics of true cachaça. Selected by the Cachaça Summit as one of the 15 best cachaças in Brazil, Ypióca Ouro Reserva Especial is aged for one year in oak barrels, giving it a smooth and complex aroma and flavor.
