RUM - RON - RHUM
Known as rhum in French-speaking countries and ron in Spanish-speaking ones, rum is the distillate obtained from sugarcane. The most widespread production comes from the distillation of fermented molasses and syrups, while the finest expressions are made from fresh sugarcane juice, without passing through sugar refining: these are the so-called rhum agricoles, renowned for their finesse, aromatic tension, and strong sense of place.
A broad category that brings together Caribbean tradition, technical mastery, and contemporary interpretations, while always maintaining a deep connection to the plant origin of its raw material.
